Staff cleansing is planned in Barcelona – 12 players are set on transfer. So, the Spanish club is starting to think about next season.

The leadership of Catalonia’s Barcelona is trying to renew and strengthen the squad for next season. For this, “Blaugrana” first needs to sell players who are no longer included in the club’s plans. The Spanish edition MARCA writes that the Catalans are going to sell 12 players and their identities are known:

Goalkeeper Neto, defenders Nelson Semedo, Samuel Umtiti, and Junior Firpo, midfielders Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal, forwards Martin Braithwaite and Ousmane Dembele. In addition, Barça’s so-called “blacklist” also includes players who are loaned to other clubs – Philippe Coutinho, Rafinha Alcantara, Carles Alena, and Jean-Clair Todibo.

As it turns out, selling these Barcelona players will bring financial benefits and give more freedom in the squad so that the team will be able to be recruited better and with higher quality.

Recall that Barcelona took 2nd place in the Spanish Championship. In the Champions League they await the eighth-finals match against Napoli. The Spanish giants have confirmed one swap deal so far. Miralem Pjanic from Juventus has already been added, and Arthur Mello has been sent to the Italian club.
