AC Milan has made a statement at Turin after a huge 7-0 victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande.

Milan proves dominance over the Turin clubs after the huge victory just four days after a 3-0 victory over hosts Juventus. Stefano Pioli visited Torino after weekend’s 3-0 rout of Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

Speaking after dissecting another statement victory at Turin, Pioli hails his side for a show of character.

“Two such difficult away matches and two such important performances are a very important sign. We still need a victory and we have to think about the next one,” Pioli said.

Despite the 7-0 and 3-0 convincing results over the Turin clubs, Pioli added, “We are 3km from the summit until you are up… Anything can happen uphill.”

Pioli revealed how he has motivated his boys after falling second place recently.

“Two weeks ago they said we were half dead, now we have fate in our hands. I asked the boys to play better than their opponents because if you play better you have a better chance of winning and we did it.

“I always told the guys that I was lucky enough to coach not just any group, a group that built itself. The club has always protected us, it’s good at Milanello,” the Italian tactician revealed.

“It is a special group, they respect and love each other,” he emphasized.

However, Pioli admits he has a young team that has transformed to be solid. He insists such results are a reward for their hard work.

“We have become a strong team from a mental point of view. I never forget that I coach a very young team that has become mature and solid, it has awareness. It is the most rewarding step for our work,” AC Milan coach insisted.
