Jamie Carragher believes in the transfer of Thiago Alcantara. “Thiago will add something new to the team,” Carragher said.

Regarding the possible transfer of Thiago Alcantara to Liverpool, Jamie Carragher spoke to the Mirror and noted that the transfer will end soon.

“The only thing that could stop Liverpool is Thiago’s age. But I think the transfer is still made up. Liverpool have a lot of 28-29-year-olds, so a deal has to be made … probably for 20 million pounds.

Thiago will add something new to Liverpool. The team has a lot of midfielders, they do a great job, but they are very close to each other. It will be good if a player will play next to them who will control the ball more and will be more technical. “I think the transfer will take place before the summer transfer window closes,” Carragher said.

The 29-year-old Spaniard has a current contract with Munich until the summer of 2021.

In the 2019/2020 season, Alcantara made 24 appearances for Bayern Munich and scored three goals.
