Alex Sorloth gave a very interesting interview to Leipzig’s official website. The striker talked about many things including idols of childhood.
International break
Leipzig’s journalist asked Alex about the international break. As you may know Alex is playing for Norway’s national team and he helped the team to win the games. Norway played three games in just 10 days and got 6 points out of possible 9. Alex said that he is very satisfied with the results. At the same time, Alex said that he met with old friends and childhood memories popped up right away. Sorloth noted that it’s important to be back with a positive mindset and the team is ready to win the Bundesliga title this season. Keep in mind that Alex scored two goals during the international break. Journalist asked him about the goal-scoring experience with the national team. He said that the team coach was very proud and satisfied with Alex’s performance. That’s why Sorloth played 90 minutes of all three games. He noted that return to Germany with a very good rhythm and inner will to score for Leipzig.
Experience with Leipzig
Sorloth said that he is very proud to be playing for Leipzig. At the first part of the season, he was overthinking everything which is not good for a newbie player. Over the few months, he finally understood the tactics of the coach and now he is playing confidently. At the same time, Alex said that Leipzig has a very good squad. He noted that team members understand the movement of Alex perfectly. For instance, he has a very close relationship with Olmo and Nkunku and that’s why they understand each other in the penalty box of opponent teams. Alex Sorloth added that Leipzig is ready to win Bundesliga’s title and compete with Bayern Munich although Flick’s team has more points than Julian’s team.
