Milan’s 21-year-old goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnaruma spoke to reporters about his main goal in the squad. He also named the striker from who he expects the most danger.

“The colors of “Rossoneri” mean a lot to me as I grew up here. I was always a Milan fan. My primary goal is the same as that of the club we set before the start of the season. The personal goal is to do as much as possible and concede as few goals as possible.

I play against a lot of great strikers. But most of all, I was always afraid of Ronaldo,” – the Italian media quoted the goalkeeper as saying.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing at Juventus since summer 2018. The Portuguese striker has played four matches against Milan in the Serie A, the Italian Cup, and the Super Cup. In three of them, Ronaldo scored 3 goals against Gianluigi Donnaruma.

Gianluigi is brought up in Milan. The goalkeeper has his current contract with the club until June 30, 2020. The 21-year-old Donnaruma has started at Rossoneri since 2015, conceding 26 goals in 33 appearances in all competitions this season. However, there are 10 “dry” meetings on his account.

Donnaruma’s ultimatum to Milan

Gianluigi Donaruma’s future is yet to be decided. According to SportMediaset, the goalkeeper has already demanded a salary increase from 6 million euros to 7-8 million euros.

Of course, raising salaries is not in the interests of Ivan Gazidis, the owner of Milan. So, it is not excluded that Gianluigi Donnaruma leaves the team.

Gianluigi Donnaruma’s future causes a stir on every transfer window. Donnaruma’s Instagram says he has added English lessons. Add to that the goalkeeper’s agent Mino Rayola, who doesn’t like to delay things. Though, talks with Rayola are not ongoing yer.
