Rented Man Utd Andreas Pereira wants to extend his stay at Lazio by giving up his less than ideal physique for Premier League football.

What did Andreas Pereira say?

Andreas went on a seasonal lease at Lazio last October after falling to a pending order for OId Trafford led by Ole Gunnar. The 25-year-old impressed Stadio Olimpico in 2020-21 and would like to continue playing in Serie A, but admits that the final decision on his future will be made by United. When asked where he will play next season, Andreas Pereira said that the Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga? This is the super league. English is very physical and according to Andreas it doesn’t have a perfect physique! Joking aside, Pereira enjoyed playing in England; Spanish football is more of an ego style of play. Future? he would like to stay and play for Lazio again, but that depends on the discussion with United and what they want to do with him. Pereira has a contract with the club; in the ego’s words it is like a second home for him. Pereira has been there since he was 16 and he always talks to the people who work at the club.

A little about Pereira

Andreas Pereira made 33 appearances in all competitions for Lazio in the last term, including 26 in Serie A, helping them to finish sixth. The Brazilian managed to score only once in a Roman outfit, in a thrilling 4-3 win over Torino, but still managed to score four more goals for his teammates. Andreas has spent his entire career to date through the books of United, initially making his way to the first team as a teenager in 2014. However, the midfielder has failed to establish himself as a regular at Old Trafford, having made only 75 appearances for the club so far, and the competition for a place in the middle of the park is now fiercer in the ranks of Ole Gunnar’s. Andreas still has two years left to run on their contract with the Red Devils, but it has been reported that they could cash in on the playmaker if they get the right offer.
