Antoine has extensive experience playing with both Benzema and Giroud, debuting for France in 2014. The Cules player was offered a chance to respond to Benzema’s shots at Olivier. He decided to keep most of their real opinions in front of them.

Antoine Griezmann defended Olivier Giroud

Antoine Griezmann mostly preferred to take a high road amid growing hostility between Olivier Giroud and Karim Benzema, but still indicated that the former had lifted the World Cup. Benzema was puzzled on Sunday when asked about the difference between himself and fellow French striker Giroud. “You do not compare Formula 1 with karting, and I am pleased,” Benzema said on Instagram. Asked for clarification on Tuesday, Real Madrid striker doubled his criticism of Chelsea. “But we did not remember what I said about him, especially about the fact that he brings to the French team.” We just remembered the moment when I said that I was F1, and he was karting. That’s what I think is right, and so it is.”

Giroud is a good player

Antoine has extensive experience playing with both Benzema and Giroud, debuting for France in 2014. The Cules player was offered a chance to respond to Benzema’s shots at Olivier but decided to keep most of their real opinions in front of them. “I can’t answer all of this that could get me into a problem,” said Griezmann. “I love Olivier Giroud, he is a good player, and he helped us win the World Cup. And this is important in life. “Benzema was expelled from the French team since 2015, and he was accused of blackmailing former team-mate Mathieu Valbuena in a scandal with a sex tape. Without Real Madrid striker, Les Bleus have still managed to achieve great success internationally, reaching before the Euro 2016 final, before winning the World Cup two years later.

At the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Olivier began the entire game for France, except for one. Although he did not score a goal in the tournament, his overall play was considered vital for the winning side of Didier Deschamps. In general, Giroud has scored 39 goals in 97 matches with the French national team, while the 33-year-old player made his international debut in 2011. Meanwhile, Benzema scored 27 goals in 81 games for France, while the international career of the 32-year-old striker, it would seem, has reached its end.
