Recently Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is not in good shape. So, fans are expecting more from the Gabonese striker.

During the transfer window, it was often reported that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would leave the London Arsenal and pursue a career at another club. Most Gabonese striker’s name was associated with Barcelona.

Nevertheless, the 31-year-old player remained at Arsenal. Recall that the forward is the captain of the “Gunners”. His departure would be a great loss for the team because a lot depends on him in the attack.

In the last few matches, the London club fans are dissatisfied with Aubameyang’s game and expect more from him. He scored his last goal in the Premier League on September 12 against Fulham. On Thursday he made Rapid sad in the Europa League. The goal against Rapid was the first for Pierre-Emerick in the last five meetings.

Journalists asked the team’s head coach Mikel Arteta about Aubameyang what he thought of the fan criticism, to which the Spanish specialist replied that it was normal because more is always expected from a Gabonese player.

“The reaction from the fans is not surprising, as you expect Aubameyang to score in every game. Pierre needs to make more use of his goal-scoring opportunities and often have to get the ball in the penalty area to do what he can do,” Arteta said.

London Arsenal will play their next match on October 25 against Leicester City. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be able to prove himself against the “Foxes” and end a dry series in the Premier League.
