Anthony was playing as the main winger from the right side. Brobbey was the main striker while helping Tadic and Anthony in the attacking line. On the other hand, Atalanta was in a perfect form. From the very start of the second half, Ajax was very sharp. There was a high pressure on Atalanta’s defender but Ajax could not score a goal. Ajax was sharpening counter-attacks when the team was left with 10 players on the pitch. The Ajax midfielder was given a red card for elbowing. Gravenberch played badly and the referee gave him a red card. Unfortunately to Ajax fans, the team was left with 10 players and the outcome changed. Atalanta became more powerful in the attacking line and scored only a goal in the match. Ajax had only a few minutes left for two goals – it was a “mission impossible” for Dutch team.
