The families of Correa and Vrsaljko were also tested, and these results also came back negative. Atletico Madrid revealed the identities of two cases in a statement released Monday afternoon.

“The club’s medical services have received permission to disclose their identities and stop speculating,” the statement said, before thanking the media for not revealing their identities so far. “Correa is in isolation at home with no symptoms”. Sime, who was recovering from an injury away from the group, is also asymptomatic and remains at home. However, Vrsaljko’s case is considered public health authorities because he generated antibodies several months ago. Doctors will monitor both players as specified in the health protocol.”
