As it is known, Barcelona has long been interested in buying Inter Milan’s Argentine forward, Lautaro Martinez. Therefore the Catalans are making every effort to register the player during the nearest transfer window.
So far, all of Blaugrana’s attempts have been unsuccessful. The Milan club have blocked all offers by the Catalans about exchanging players. Barca was eager to barter in order to avoid paying a redemption fee of the Argentine. But Inter only wanted to receive € 111 million.
However, the Italian edition Gazzetta Delo Sport informed us today that Inter have expressed their desire to replace Lautaro with Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann.
The source added that there are no opponents against this bartender in “Blaugrana” and there are two main reasons for this:
- Although the Frenchman spent a lot of playing time, he still failed to support the team.
- Antoine has been unable to form a good partnership with Leo Messi, which decides a lot of things at Barça.
Recall that the ransom of the 22-year-old Argentine is 111 million euros, and “Barca” bought Griezmann last year for 120 million euros from Atletico Madrid.
Lautaro’s alternative is Sociedad’s forward
Therefore, the Catalan club is catching up. So, if Barcelona fail to acquire Lautaro Martinez, Barca have already started to think about an alternative option.
As you may know, “Blaugrana” has long been watching Real Sociedad’s 20-year-old Swedish forward Alexander Isak. His ransom is 70 million euros.
But we must add that Dortmund’s Borussia have the advantage to buy the Swedish player from the Basque club for 30 million by 2022. If, of course, the German club wants to return the young forward.
Alexander Isak joined Real Sociedad in the summer of 2019 from Borussia Dortmund. Since then, he has scored 7 goals in 27 La Liga appearances.
