First half was very calm for Barcelona
Who would predict the draw of Barcelona after the first half? It was almost impossible because Barcelona was dominating the first half. Team was very confident in the defensive and attacking lines. Lionel Messi was active and his duo with Dembele was on point. Barca scored two goals in the first half and got a very big lead. It was visible that Barcelona could already think about the next game – weekend match and wait for the slip of Atletico Madrid. Keep in mind that Atletico Madrid has left three games too. One of the toughest games would be against Real Sociedad played tonight. Although Atletico Madrid is playing at home stadium, Real Sociedad will not be an easy opponent. So, Barca could just sit back for a while in the second half, keep the result on point and wait for Atletico Madrid to lose points against Real Sociedad.
Levante’s revenge in the second half
The Valencia-based club is a very tough opponent at home-stadium. Big things happened during the break and Levante became different. Morales and his teammates became very aggressive in the attacking line. Levante scored two goals in just one minute in between. It was impossible to see how Barcelona players were playing against Levante’s attacking line. Barca’s defense could not do anything against the strikers and winger of the host team. Keep in mind that Barca took the lead thanks to Ousmane Dembele and scored the third goal. Unfortunately for Barca fans, Levante went for another goal again. They could equalize the game at the end of the match. After a cross from Pedro Leon, his teammate Sergi Leone scored a very beautiful goal. Ter Stegen was devastating after conceding a goal from Leon because it was the last chance for Barca to keep up with Atletico Madrid in the table.
