Bayern Munich is very close to leadership. Monchengladbach keeps winning, but Bayern is back in action, and the team is very close to the leader of the Bundesliga.
Pre-match preparations
Flick’s team scored four goals in the last away match of Bundesliga. Fans were waiting for a better score-line against Schalke. As you may know, Bayern Munich signed Real Madrid’s player. Robert Lewandowski opened the score in the first half. On the 6th minute, Robert used the mistake of Schalke’s defenders and scored the goal. Bayern Munich could score another goal by the end of the first half. On 38th minute, Robert Lewandowski scored another goal. Unfortunately to Bayern fans, VAR decided that it was not a goal.
On the 45th minute, Thomas Muller could increase the lead. Bayern’s winger was the first in the penalty area, and the goalkeeper of Schalke was helpless.
2nd half of the match
Bayern Munich was able to score three more goals in the second half. No 50th minute, Goretkza scored the third goal for Bayern Munich. It was shot outside of the edge of the penalty area. On the 58th minute, Robert Lewandowski assisted to Thiago Alcantara. The midfielder of Bayern Munich scored the goal and increased the lead of team to 4 goals. The last goals were scored on 89th minute when Gnabry shot the ball from the outside of the box.
