Munich players lost the second match of the season at home. In the Bundesliga, it was exciting to see how Bayern can’t win the home match. Bayern players were tired from the start and could not physically keep up with Bayer Leverkusen.
Fans could not believe the result as Leverkusen also played midweek Champions League match. Keep in mind that Bayern started the game actively but conceded the goal first.
Robert Lewandowski could not score a goal
Poland’s striker has a perfect start of the season. Robert is scoring goals at any stadium possible, and he was on an ideal run in the Bundesliga. Lewandowski has scored in all previous matches of Bundesliga so far, but the streak ended against Bayer Leverkusen.
Fans believe that Bayern’s coach was wrong when he chose Perisic for starting line-up. Also, the coach has no trust in Brazilian Coutinho, and midfield is not playing good in the Bundesliga. All those little mistakes of coach led to a second loss of the season at home stadium.
All goals were scored in the first half. Bailey scored two goals in the first half, and only Thomas Muller could answer with a goal. Bayern did everything in the second half but could not convert shot on targets into goals.
Monchengladbach is back in the top of the league
Monchengladbach won the home match against Freiburg. Players did everything to forget the loss of the previous round of the Bundesliga. The home match of Monchengladbach was exciting as both teams score many goals. Freiburg could keep with Monchengladbach in the first half as both sides score goals. In the second, half the host team started with colossal pressure and could score two goals in a few minutes after the start of the second half.
Leipzig is still the second club in the Bundesliga and has only one point gap with Monchengladbach. Bayern and Dortmund are away from the Champions League zone of the Bundesliga table.
