Edinson Cavani’s move to Benfica is also being considered, which will do their best to take Cavani to Lisbon.

Bayern Munich are showing interest in Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired on June 30.

According to Le10Sport, the German club’s management sees the backup of the leading Polish star of Munich, Robert Lewandowski, in Uruguay. It also turns out that the first contact was made with Edinson’s brother to find out the possible demands of the former PSG striker.

Also considered is the transfer of the Uruguayan to Benfica. They are ready to do their best to make Edi Cavani move to Lisbon. They are in close contact with the Uruguayan entourage. However, the financial side will probably still play a decisive role.

On the other hand, famous Italian journalist Tancredi Palmer reports that the striker, Edinson Cavani, has already signed a contract with “Benfica”. So, the Uruguayan will earn 9 million euros annually in Lisbon.

So, “Benfica” is one of the main contenders to add Cavani. However, it has been reported so far that the Portuguese were intimidated by the player’s financial demands.

The Uruguayan striker defended the dignity of PSG in 2013-2020. In the interrupted season of the French championship, Cavani played 14 matches, scored four goals and recorded one assist.
