Dortmund Borussia lost the game against Koln. It was a home-match, so team players were very disappointed. Erling Haaland could not help the team to equalize or win the game.
Same starting line-up for Dortmund
As you may know, Dortmund won the mid-week match in the Champions League. Team scored three goals and two came from Haaland. Erling is in fantastic form and he scored goals here and there. Even the director of Dortmund admitted that the team is ready to extend contract with Haaland. It seems that Erling Haaland does not want to extend the contract. Big teams like Barca and Los Blancos are interested in him. Haaland has a contract with Dortmund until 2022, so he may join Spanish giants in two seasons. Favre decided to play with the same starting line-up as he did against Brugge. Haaland was the main striker as always. Marco Reus was playing in the deep midfield and helping Erling. Meanwhile, Reus and Brandt were playing on the wings. Unfortunately to Dortmund fans, this attacking line could not score more goals than Koln.
Skhiri is the man of the match
Koln’s midfielder, Skhiri scored two goals and gave important three points to the club. Koln was really good in midfield and they could easily create counter-attacks. Keep in mind that Skhiri scored goals in each half. Dortmund could not react properly. After losing the match 0-2, Dortmund started pressing higher and attacked more. Lucian Favre even decided to change Brandt and give a chance to Hazard. It was a substitution that gave an only goal to Dortmund. Hazard scored the goal and decreased the lead of Koln. In the end, Dortmund could not change the result and lost the home-game.
