Former player of Turin “Juventus” Blaise Matuidi talked about leaving the team. He also commented on Maurizio Sarri and named Cristiano Ronaldo as the best teammate he has ever had.

“I decided to leave Juventus and went to the management with a request to release me from the last year of my contract. There was no talk of a new coach then. He did not even talk to Pirlo about it. When I received an offer from “Miami” the season was still going on, we were competing in the Champions League.

Sarri had his choices, the players had different levels of training, it was difficult, but he made choices over other players at the end of the season. I am not upset. I spent three wonderful years at Juventus with great people.

I’ve not had a problem with Sarri personally. He is a coach who works a lot on tactics. I think he is a shy person. Coaching is hard. He surprised me during the Coronavirus period when I was infected. Maurizio called me every day and heard the news as I felt.

Neymar, Mbappe, Griezmann, Ibrahimovic, and Ronaldo? (Matuidi has been everyone’s teammate) They are all fantastic players. But if I must pick out one, I choose Ronaldo because of what he has done in the past and what he still does today. “He has an amazing spirit, he always wants to be the best, and I have never seen that before,” Matuidi said.

Let us remind you that Blaise Matuidi scored eight goals and made five assists in 133 matches in “Juventus” in 2017-2020.
