Ribeiro, who previously managed the superstar striker’s career, is vying for yet another record transfer.

Even a billion is not enough to get Neymar

Real Madrid had a €300m bid for Neymar, beaten off in 2019 by Wagner Ribeiro, who says PSG made it clear that even a billion would not be enough to get the Brazilian. The Ligue 1 Grand Prix broke the world transfer record in the summer of 2017 by luring the South American superstar out of Barcelona in a € 222m deal. Since that agreement, a return to Spain for Neymar has been discussed with Real with the aim of turning speculation into a transfer at a time when serious questions have been raised about the 29-year-old’s future in France.

Wagner Ribeiro, a former Neymar agent, said he was close to moving to Real at the time. Madrid were willing to pay €300 million for it. Florentino Perez said it, but Nasser Al-Khelaifi refused. He told him that not for a billion, he will not go !.

Neymar wants to stay in Paris

Seeing the denied exit, Neymar made a commitment to Paris Saint-Germain. He scored 83 goals in 106 appearances, assisting his current club in a number of national awards and the Champions League final. However, the transfer refuses to leave, especially as it approaches the final year of his contract in Paris. Fresh terms have been negotiated, along with ongoing talk of interest from Real and Barcal, but Wagner Ribeiro doubts any other party can afford it. According to Wagner Ribeiro he is happy there. No club in the world can offer you what Paris Saint-Germain has to offer. Only they can afford Neymar. Madrid is in financial trouble and Barca is even worse. He doesn’t think so about Italy and United or City. He added that in Paris he makes a good living and plays for a very good team. This season they will win the Champions League and Neymar will land the Ballon d’Or.
