The ill-fated offer could be reborn at some point when Barcelona, Real and Juve continue to participate.

What Aleksandar Ceferin said

UEFA President Aleksandar Ceferin believes that at least 10 years will pass before the Super League is reborn. Twelve leading European parties announced their intention to form the Super League last month, only for the project to collapse within 48 hours amid protests from around the football world. While there have been speculations that the plan might be revived at some point, Aleksandar Ceferin believes that this is unlikely to happen anytime soon. The UEFA chief said he was disappointed to hear about the creation of the Super League, as it was a conspiracy that guided certain clubs. At the end of the day, it is very positive that this happened because it helped to clarify what the situation is in European football. You can never say never, but Ceferin doesn’t think something like this will be offered for at least 10 years. Aleksandar also said that the entire football family found the attitude of the three remaining clubs shocking and unacceptable.

Aleksandar offered his support

Despite the fact that nine of the 12 sides involved in the Super League have formally withdrawn, there are still three clubs technically left: Juve, Barcelona and Real. Earlier this week, UEFA opened disciplinary proceedings against three teams for missing the Super League. Aleksandar has threatened any holdouts with expulsion from UEFA competitions, including the Champions League and Europa League. Aleksandar endorses the final four this week and said UEFA is considering hosting the Champions League semi-finals and final in the same city within a week. Instead of a two-legged semi-final on each team’s home court, it, like the final, will be a one-off match at a neutral venue. Aleksandar offered his support for this idea, although he warned that it was far from complete.
