Thomas Tuchel has added a plus one fan in Ruud Gullit after the Dutch claims Chelsea are faster under the German.

Gullit has praised Tuchel for the changes he has implemented on the team. The German arrived at Stamford Bridge in January and has lost only one game.

According to Gullit, Tuchel who has had an impressive impact already during his first season has implemented a fast game. Tuchel immediately switched the blues formation to a 3-4-3 something which has seen them tighten up at the back.

Gullit explains Chelsea’s style of play as much faster football under Tuchel.

“They play more offensive [under Tuchel]. They play 3-4-3,” Gullit said.

He Continued, “They play total pressing. They play the ball faster to each other, not so much dribbling anymore in the middle of the park. They dribble around the 18-yard box of the opposition.”

“A lot more fluent. It’s higher intensity of all the players, and that’s a good thing. Players who were not playing under Lampard are now playing extremely well,” former Chelsea forward added.

Since his arrival, Tuchel has rotated his squad but he is now starting to look settled to his XI.

Chelsea sets for a tough and more complicated fixture ahead of FA Cup semi-finals, the Champions League. Chelsea clash with rivals Manchester City in this Weekend English FA semifinal.

Also, the blues face two legs Uefa Champions League tie against Real Madrid in their bid to earn European glory. Notably, Tuchel has seen Success at Stamford Bridge but currently, he is facing a fitness challenge.

Chelsea heads to the Manchester City clash without Mateo Kovacic and doubtful N’Golo Kante. On top of the Fa Cup and the Champions League, the race for the top four tightens.

With five clubs battling for third and fourth place in the EPL.

However, Tuchel can still play the glorious European League if he pushes his side to win it.
