Frank Lampard is unhappy with Kepa Arrizabalaga’s game. If next target, Ter Stegen’s transfer does not take place, Jan Oblak is in the queue.

London Chelsea are seriously getting stronger for next season. The “Aristocrats” have already added Hakim Ziech and Timo Werner and are actively working on the transfer of Kai Havertz. In addition to strengthening their offensive potential, the English club also intends to improve their defense. There have already been reports in foreign media that Chelsea are trying to add a goalkeeper as well.

The London club management is dissatisfied with the game of Kepa Arrizabalaga. So, as Mundo Deportivo reports, the next target is a Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. The English are ready to include Arrizabalaga in the transfer and bring him back to Spain.

Ter Stegen transferred to Borussia Monchengladbach in Barcelona in 2014. During that time, he was able to win the Champions League and 4 La Liga with the Catalan club. The 28-year-old goalkeeper has a contract with Barça until the summer of 2022. But if he is not recruited, then Frank Lampard’s team will switch to Jan Oblak’s transfer from Atletico Madrid.

Lampard’s debut season as head coach of Chelsea in London can be positively assessed. A team trained by an English specialist has reached the final of the Association Cup. In addition, he has a chance to finish in the Premier League in the top four and qualify for the CL next season.
