The head coach of Juventus talked about the relationship with the Chelsea players. The 61-year-old specialist cited examples from his time at Chelsea.

Turin’s Juventus head coach Maurizio Sarri spoke about the relationship with the players and the approach that characterizes him as a coach. Recall that the 61-year-old Italian specialist worked at Chelsea in London before arriving in Turin, where he did not have an ideal relationship with several players.

“The higher you go, the harder it is to sort out the relationship with the players. I had a complicated relationship with the Chelsea players, but when I told them I was leaving, a lot of them were crying.”

“The players conclude when they understand my character.”

“I am not the man who turns a blind eye to others’ mistakes. Usually, I talk a lot about what players do wrong and a little bit about what they do well. I think it has a strong effect on the relationship, but then they will appreciate what you represent.

I had the longest relationship with the players I rarely put on the pitch, and I think the players draw conclusions when they understand my character, ”said Sarri.

Recall that Maurizio Sari coached Chelsea in the 2019/20 season in London. Under his leadership, the English club won the Europa League and played in the English League Cup final. After the end of the season, Sarri returned to Italy, where he took over at Juventus.

After 26 matches in Serie A, the Turinese are leading the tournament table with 63 points. Roman Lazio is one point behind the Old Lady. Juventus have reached the final of the Champions League, where they lost the first match away to Lyon (0: 1). Currently, all these tournaments have been suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
