We saw a great comeback from Chelsea at home stadium. Ajax could not keep the three-goal lead in London, so both teams have a chance to qualify for the Champions League play-offs.

 

Pre-match preparations

Chelsea won a shocking match two weeks ago in Amsterdam. The whole game we saw that Ajax was playing correctly, but Chelsea’s late winning-goal changed everything. Till today’s event, Chelsea and Ajax had the same amount of points – six.

Ajax was in perfect shape as Amsterdam club could win the last two domestic matches. Chelsea is also excellent at Premier League and could get away win during the weekend.

1st half of the game

In just five minutes, fans in London saw two goals. It was not enough as players from both sides tried to attack more in the first half. Ajax was better in the first half as they could score two more goals. Promes scored a beautiful header in the 20th minute. Ziyech was the author of assist, and both players were happy after the goal.

We saw another goal from Ajax in the first half. Again, Chelsea scored their purpose. Hakim Ziyech crossed the ball from the right side of the stadium, and Keppa could not keep the ball in hands.

2nd half of the match

Ajax could score one more goal in the second half. Van De Beek was successful and registered another goal in the Champions League season. Now, the Dutch player has two goals in the group stage of the Champions League. Who would think that it was possible to come back from 1-4? Unlike us, Chelsea players and Lampard were ready to sacrifice everything to go again.

On 71st minute, Jorginho scored his second goal in the match and decreased the gap in goals. In just three minutes, we saw another excellent performance from Lampard’s boys, and James scored fourth for Chelsea

Overall, we saw avery intense and crazy match in London. Eight goals, two red cards, two penalty kicks, and two own goals. It’s the match you can only dream of as a neutral fan.
