Antonio Conte is well-known for his perfectionist nature, as he always requires his players to be in excellent physical condition all the time. But as soon as he feels his squad is not mighty enough, Inter Milan Coach starts looking for the players out of the team. Accordingly, the Italian coach is building a Premier League team under Inter’s name, and all these happen for his own satisfaction.

As you may have noticed, Conte gives preference to physically strong and active players. Apparently, he considers that the squads of PL clubs are compiled with such mighty players, and that’s the reason why he especially likes English teams.

Inter Milan Constantly Strengthening the Squad

In summer, Conte spent €155 million on transfers to strengthen the team’s squad. In the match against Dortmund, Inter could not show enough power. The Nerazzurri could not even manage to implement its own mental and physical tactics.

Conte is desperate, realizing that his team is just average and not even one of the good ones. That’s why the Italian coach is looking forward to using January’s transfer window as much as possible. He is not looking for just any players, but he needs the physically strong ones from the Premier League.

In summer 2019, Conte signed Romelu Lukaku – the dominant forward from Man United.

In January 2020, Ashley Young joined Inter based on a €1,5m deal. Inter also signed Victor Moses from Chelsea on loan. Most recently, Conte has also signed a mighty attacking mid-fielder Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur for a €20m fee.

Inter’s players under Conte are always ready to be switched at any time. They have to spend all their power and energy on the field. Conte needs only experienced players to win. And for Conte, the highest level of performance is associated with a Premier League team.

Conte remembers both his past lessons from Chelsea and Juventus. Conte perfectly knows what these PL players are capable of. Accordingly, the Italian Coach is sure that they will be able to deal with his style of play. And this seems to be a new challenge for all five transferred players.
