Inter Milan confirms on Wednesday that they have parted ways with the Scudetto-winning coach Antonio Conte by mutual consent.

Reports claim that Conte had disputes with the Serie A giants after the club intends to cut investments in the future. According to the former Chelsea coach who wants to maintain competitiveness, the idea will affect his intention hence walking away.

While confirming the termination of the veteran tactician, Inter Milan reveals they have mutually agreed to terminate the contract with Conte.

“FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Antonio Conte for the termination of his contract by mutual consent,” the club statement reads.

The statement continues to thank the winning coach claims he will be forever in their history.

“The Club would like to thank Antonio for the extraordinary work that he has done, culminating in Inter’s 19th top-flight title. Antonio Conte will forever remain a part of our Club’s history,” the statement added.

Reports have it that Inter will part with seven million euros as Conte’s compensation. Also, the former Juventus coach will not coach any other Serie A club in the next term.

With such a sudden and surprising termination Conte speculates his next tenure but certainly, it will never be in Italy.

Meanwhile the Italian Serie A Exodus continues as AC Milan president Paolo Maldini confirms goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma’s exit.

“Gigio was a leader and often the captain. People sometimes don’t realize what it means to be a professional, it means you must be ready to change club.

However, Maldini admits that it’s difficult to accept the fact that Donnarumma has to leave but it is inevitable. He claims the keeper’s action is not a disrespect to Milan.

“It can happen that at times you have to take different paths. I can only wish him the best,” Maldini confirmed.
