Eric Castagnino has been quick to refute allegations that he had contact with the Premier League heavyweights. Corentin is currently injured, and his return to the field is an absolute priority.”

Rafael: Tolisso is one of the best midfielders

Tolisso has not played for Bayern since competitive football resumed amid the coronavirus pandemic. His last trip came on March 3, when he was late replaced in a 1-0 victory over Schalke. Niggling’s knocks limited him to only 24 appearances in the current campaign. But Bayern thinks highly of him and has a long-term contract until 2022. However, transfer talk is building, and the former United defender Rafael is among those who believe that the Red Devils should step up efforts to land Tolisso. The Brazilian tweeted on reports linking his former Lyon team-mate to the Theater of Dreams: “One of the best midfielders I’ve played with. I think he’s perfect for Manchester United. I hope he goes there.

Tolisso did not offer any signs that he would insist on the move. With his only focus currently on returning to fitness and favor with Bayern. He said of his struggle for injuries: “I knew that I needed to work hard to return to the highest level. I must continue to find my true level before my injury”. He said that It depends only on him and has to give himself some time.  He also worked a lot with Bayern. “I am well prepared. I have to continue like this.”
