The 16th round match of the English Premier League between Everton and Manchester City has been postponed. The reason for this decision was the spread of the coronavirus in Manchester City. On Friday, the Mancunian team announced that Gabriel Jesus, Kyle Walker and two other team members had also been diagnosed with coronavirus.

Today, new cases of covid infection became known in the ranks of the “Cityzens”. So, the match with Everton was postponed due to that. This decision was made by the Premier League after consultations with both clubs.

All infected are self-isolated in accordance with the English Premier League and UK Government protocol. Recall that Manchester City is in 6th place with 26 points gained in 14 games, while Everton has 29 points in 15 games and is only behind Liverpool.
