After continual series of bad news finally some good news for Dejan Lovren. As Voted by fans, Dejan Lovren has been chosen as Liverpool POTM alongside new arrival Salah.
The Croatian defender has been going through an awful spell as of recent. He had a horrific 31 minutes against Spurs in the Premier League. He was to blame for the two goals conceded in the opening stages with boss Jurgen Klopp subbing him off during the first half.
Lovren was heavily criticised over social media. He even received death threats and some towards his family. He went to the extent of removing his profile picture and blocking all the hate comments and messages he was getting.
However, regardless of his awful performance, the Liverpool faithfuls are standing with the Croatian. Their fans have voted him as October’s player of the month alongside new arrival Mohamed Salah.
They’ll share the honor after both got 33 percent of the votes from the open survey on the club’s site.
Philippe Coutinho comes in third with nine percent of the votes with Trent Alexander-Arnold entering in fourth, six percent of the votes to his name.
