“Antonio Conte boasts a successful managerial career across Europe but will not be able to last as Real Madrid boss”. Says Diego Costa.

The Italian is one of the top coaches in world football. He is widely hailed as a tactician and a serial winner, especially for domestic titles.

The Inter Milan manager is well known for his vocal nature. He has been criticized as being harsh with players ion a number of occasions.

Conte won three consecutive Serie A titles during his time as Juventus head coach. He later moved to England where he guided Chelsea to a Premier League and FA Cup triumph in his two-year spell.

It is his time in Chelsea where he faced great criticism. The Italian had run-ins with Diego Conte and told the striker through a text message that he was no longer wanted in the club.

Costa later left the club to join Atletico Madrid but has always been a critic of his former manager whenever he gets the chance.

The Spanish international says he no longer has a problem with Conte who he described as a talented coach. However, he questioned the Italian’s human management skills and wondered if he could survive at Real Madrid.

He said, “Conte and I had problems off the pitch. But I think he is a really good manager. I have no hard feelings towards Conte, but to be a top, top manager, he needs to change the human side of his management.”

“He is very suspicious. At a team like Real Madrid, he would never last a season.”
