Everton and Tottenham played a dramatic match at Goodison Park. Teams scored nine goals in the match and it was enough for dramatic emotions.

Harry Kane could not start the match

Jose Mourinho was very positive before the match. He thought Harry Kane could start the game as he recovered from the injury. Unfortunately to Tottenham fans, Harry Kane could play only 30 minutes in the game, so Jose had to change the starting line-up. Son was the only striker of Tottenham in the penalty area of Everton. Bergwin and Brazilian attacker Lucas were playing on the wings. Their main target was pressing higher and playing really fast football on counter-attacks. Lucas and Bergwin did their job perfectly in the second half. Lamela was playing from the deep midfield and he was always behind Son’s movement.

After a 3-3 draw against Manchester United, Everton lost James Rodrirguez. He has a calf injury, so could not play against Tottenham. It was a tough match for Everton and Carlo knew it from the start. Before the game, Carlo Ancelotti admitted that Everton could suffer but in the end they were obliged to win. Calvert-Lewin was the striker in the penalty area of Tottenham. Iwobi and Richarlison were playing on the wings and making life of full-backs of Tottenham hard.
