The Milan club has wanted to add a Bosnian so far. If Lautaro leaves, Inter will need a new forward. So, they have targeted the captain of Roma – Edin Dzeko.
Inter Milan have resumed work on the transfer of Edin Dzeko. The Milanese still wanted to recruit a Bosnian in the summer of 2019. However, they did not reach their goal. Edin then signed a new 3-year contract with Roma, under which he would receive a salary of 7.5 million euros a year.
According to Italian media, Antonio Conte’s team wants to add Dzeko this year as well. There is a high probability that Lautaro Martinez will leave the Milan club during the nearest transfer window. Inter want Dzeko to replace the Argentine forward.
Roma bought Edin Dzeko from Manchester City in the summer of 2016. The Bosnian soon became one of the leading players of the Italian club. Many other clubs wanted to add a forward during this time.
Dzeko has made 32 appearances for Serie A in the 2019/20 season, scoring 15 goals and assisting seven goals. The Bosnian also played well in the Europa League, where he scored three goals in 7 matches and provided the same number of assists.
