The president of the Italian Football Federation wants to bring spectators back to the arenas. According to Gabriele Gravina, football is imperfect without fans.

Fans may be allowed to attend football matches in Italy as early as January 2021. This was stated in an interview with the President of the Italian Football Federation Gabriele Gravina.

Gravina believes that the authorities can allow a small number of fans to enter stadiums in regions where the situation is more or less safe.

“This season of the Italian Championship is quite tense, and we have witnessed some surprises. But the main characters in football are the fans, they are not, and without them, the performance would never be perfect.

I do not know how long it will take for the spectators to return to the squares. I hope the first step in this direction will be taken in January. But everything still depends on the spread of the disease.

“I hope the fans will be allowed in the stadiums, as other events, such as ski resorts, will continue to be available,” Gravina said.

According to the latest data, up to 70,000 people have also died of coronavirus pneumonia in Italy. More than 1,200,000 have recovered.

After 13 rounds in the Italian Serie A, Milan are at the top of the tournament table (31). Inter Milan are one point behind, and Juventus are third (27).
