According to Corriere, Federico Chiesa is leaving Fiorentina. Juventus will most likely have to sell Douglas Costa.

Florence Fiorentina leader Federico Chiesa is close to a transfer to Turin’s Juventus. According to Corriere Della Sera, the 22-year-old striker will play his last match against Sampdoria on Friday for Fiorentina and then will join the Turin Grand.

As it became known, the “Old Lady” will add Chiesa with a 1-year lease, which will be worth 10 million euros, and his redemption will be 50 million euros in the summer of 2021.

After the addition of Chiesa, Juventus will have to sell any of their players. According to Italian media, Douglas Costa is the main candidate to leave Turin, although the names of Matthi de Sciglio, Daniele Rugani, and Sami Khedira are also mentioned. Andrea Pirlo’s team needs to split the player to free up the payroll budget.

Federico Chiesa has been playing for Fiorentina since 2016 and has scored 34 goals in 152 appearances. He has a contract with the Florentine club until 2022. La Viola’s president Rocco Commisso recently noted that the likelihood of Chieza leaving the team is high. Please note that the transfer window closes on 5 October.
