Manchester United hosted and defeated Manchester City (2:0) today in the 29th round of the Premier League at Old Trafford.

 

Noteworthy, that United had won only 3 of their last 10 away games at Old Trafford and only 1 in the Premier League!

United had one plus today, with Portuguese newcomer Bruno Fernandez, who has revitalized the club with his excellent game. Fernandes has had no problems adapting. Since January, he had been able to score 3 goals in 7 appearances for the new club T-shirt and also he assisted twice.

The Red Devils beat Pep Guardiola’s team in both championship matches – in the first round, Solskjaer’s men won 1: 2. Interestingly, United have beaten City twice for the first time since 2009/10. Back then, Sir Alex Ferguson’s team “United” beat City 4: 3 and 0: 1.
