Roma legend Francesco Totti said in a live interview with his former teammate Alessandro Del Piero on his Italian team that he is not a fool to bring his son, Christian, to the Roman Lazio.

 

Recall that Francesco Totti, heartbroken, left the club, where he spent his entire career and finally worked in their system. Francesco recently said he would not have resisted his son if the latter had wanted to move to Lazio.

14-year-old Christian Totti is currently training at the Roma academy. Given that Roma and Lazio are principal rivals, Francesco’s words came as a shock to the fans of Roma.

“I said that if I were an agent of Christian and Milan, Lazio or Juventus would contact me, I would answer. In any case, Christian is like me, and he will refuse. ” – the Italian media publishes Totti’s words.

So, in his conversation with Del Piero, he confirmed that he would be a fool if he agreed his son’s transfer to Lazio.

Francesco Totti spent his entire professional career in Rome (1992-2017). With the team he won the Italian championship. He also won the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup twice. As soon as he ended his career, he took over as director of the club. But two years later, in June 2019, he left Roma due to disagreements with management.

Francesco became the European vice-champion in 2000, and in 2006 he celebrated even winning the World Cup with the Italian national team.
