Gareth Bale’s agent exposes the truth on botched China transfer – and talks Tottenham return. He’s focused on seeing out the remaining two years of his Real Madrid contract, according to the player’s agent Jonathan Barnett.

Make Chinese football great

Gareth wanted to “make Chinese football great” when he was involved in moving to Asia in the summer of 2019, his agent claims, but now plans to stay in Real Madrid and will not return to the Tottenham in Premier League. Each pass-through transfer window brings with it a fresh round of rumors about the Welsh International. For most speculations, there was the little creature. Still, the 30-year-old was intrigued by offering a lot of money from CSL and was close to putting an end to the spell on Santiago Bernabeu, which delivered a lot of silver but also a lot of criticism.

He received an offer that cannot be refused

Gareth’s representative, Jonathan Barnett, admits that the transition from the Spanish capital has received serious consideration. He told AS: “He received an offer that cannot be refused. But Real Madrid would not sell it. The Chinese club could not pay what the Madrid wanted.” He wanted to create a legacy. He tried to raise Chinese football. Welshman had a vision that he could make Chinese football great. He won everything he can win and has done so many times. “It was the creation of heritage, his name being the first great player to go to China. But it wasn’t… And the money was special too. That would make him the highest-paid player on Earth.

“He’s not interested anywhere. China was a completely different thing. He plays for Real Madrid, you know.” Bale was again the subject of intense speculation throughout January 2020, while he suggested that the former club Tottenham and their rivals Manchester United’s premier league is once again sniffed around. Barnett, however, says that the second spell in England is unlikely, adding when they press him to see Welshman in the north of London: “No, he is 30 years old, he will be 31 years old next year. I don’t know how long will play Gareth.

Bale is not for sale now

“This is what his lifestyle wants. He loves Real Madrid. His children have been there since they were children, they speak Spanish, believe me, or not. I was there two days ago in Madrid. It was 15 degrees, beautiful. If you are one of the greatest football players ever to play, why do you want to… “Barnett added about Bale’s relationship with United, while he claims that the Red Devils approached the deal in 2017:” Every club wished to him, he was happy in Madrid, Bale was not for sale then, he is one of the best players in the world. “He is not for sale now.

Real Madrid has always shown great respect for him; the president has always been a fan of the Bale and shows him incredible respect.” Bale is tied to a contract with Blancos until the summer of 2022 and intends to comply with this agreement.
