The 56-year-old has earned a lot of plow over the past few years after getting Getafe out of the Segunda Division and then leading them to finish in fifth place in 2018/19, while this season they are equal in points with the fourth-placed Real Sociedad, going into the final 11 matchdays.

Jose wants to coach AS Roma

Getafe boss Jose Bordalas said he would like a coach in Serie A, and specifically at Roma. The 56-year-old has earned a lot of plow over the past few years after getting Getafe out of the Segunda Division and then leading them to finish in fifth place in 2018/19, while this season they are equal in points with the fourth-placed Real Sociedad, going into the final 11 matchdays. “I am pleased with Getafe,” Bordalas said in an interview. “It is my fourth season, and we did an excellent job.” As a professional, I work to get a call from a big club. That’s is my goal. “I love Serie A because I love Italy, as I love people, and it would be nice to work there.”

Bordalas – “The Roman”

He did not hide which team would also be at the top of his shortlist either. “It would be an incredible thing to train Roma. It would be an honor,” Bordalas said: “It would be a dream for me because I love the city, and the club has a great story”. Bordalas’s nickname is “The Roman,” but why is that so?” He has always been fascinated by the history of ancient Rome, of the city; I also have a tattoo,” he explained”. I am in love with it, and therefore my former team-mates called me that, but maybe because I was small, but I fought a lot. “In the last 16 Europa League, will receive Serie A giants Inter, a tie Bordalas is looking forward to”. We are happy to be there, where we are incredible for us,” he said.

Inter are favorites, and they have a great team, a great story, and a good fan base. “I would like it if we played, as usual, with a two-legged tie, but we don’t know what UEFA will decide.”
