After a big win against the Czech Republic, Kosovo players were happy. They made history, and now it was England’s turn. Before the match, Southgate talked about the pre-match feeling and situation. England coach was happy and satisfied with players but wanted one more win in September.
Match analysis
The game started in a strange way as Kosovo scored a goal in the first minute. Kosovo winger got a ball and shot on target, so that the goalkeeper could not save the team. Next few minutes, St. Mary’s stadium was silent. People could not believe that England was losing the game against Kosovo. The shock lasted for only 7 minutes as Sterling scored a goal and England came back into the match.
It was not enough for Southgate’s team, so player’s decided to kill intrigue in the first half. Harry Kane was fast enough to lead England 2-1.
England youngster, Jayden Sancho scored two goals in two minutes, and the first half ended with 5-1 for Southgate’s team.
Second half was not dull at all, but the intrigue was entirely gone. Kosovo decided to make some light into the game, so Berisha and Muriqi scored two goals before the final whistle.

Sterling and Harry Kane scored again for the national team, so it was a happy week for them. Harry Kane talked about the big win and said that they have already secured a place in Euro 2020. Sterling thanked fans on St. Mary’s stadium and mentioned their role in winning.

As you know, Euro 2020 qualification must end in 2019. So, we will have a few games in October and November. England has a crucial away game against the Czech Republic. Southgate’s team scored five goals against Czechs in London, and Czech people are waiting for revenge.
