It has long been rumored that Real Madrid are going to transfer Kylian Mbappe from PSG. But now it looks like Real’s plans have changed. Now, Los Blancos may change their mind to buy Paris Saint-Germain’s forward and choose Borussia Dortmund’s striker Erling Haaland. English media actively reports about that.

According to their reports, the Madrid club are considering the possibility of acquiring a young Norwegian for next summer.

As you may have already known, 19-year-old Erling Haaland has moved from Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund this winter for a € 20m fee and has shown huge immediate success.

The striker has already scored 12 goals in all his eight matches in all tournaments and attracted the attention of the whole football world.

Haaland has a 4.5-year contract with the German club. But it does include a clause stating that the forward could leave Dortmund for £ 65m in 2021.

But the royal club are keen to sign to the Norwegian forward already this summer and are likely to appeal to Dortmund with a lucrative offer.

Whatever the case, this transfer would be far more lucrative for Los Blancos than buying Kylian Mbappe. The 21-year-old attacker has been valued at around 250 million pounds.

Manchester United was also targeting Haaland

It was reportedly known that the Red Devils were highly interested in Erling Haaland before he joined Borussia Dortmund. United even offered £50m to Salzburg, but Haaland decided that BVB had better arguments.

Borussia Dortmund were looking for the player precisely like him in the appropriate position. So Haaland would be an excellent fit.  As it seems now, he was right. But as he continues upgrading his impressive goal-scoring ability, soon, he will definitely need a team of a higher level than BVB is for him.
