He noted that personally prefers Erling Haaland in Dortmund. The manager of Dortmund said that Erling Haaland is still very young and a perfect fit for Dortmund Borussia. He noted that Erling is trying to score and win more trophies and that’s what makes him stand out from the crowded space of football. Watzke also noted that Erling’s agent had a meeting with Real Madrid and Barcelona. Both clubs are interested in the skills and experience of Erling Haaland. Spanish clubs want to sign Erling but he wants to extend contract and let him stay in Dortmund for a few more seasons. Watzke knows that big European clubs would try to buy him this summer, but he is very optimistic in this case. Watkze reminded journalists that Jadon Sancho was also leaving because of the interest of big European teams but he is still in Borussia. So, the same could happen with Erling Haaland.
Competition between Real Madrid Barcelona
Barcelona has a new president. Laporta wants to sign big names but there are financial problems. Laporta knows that Barcelona can’t sign big transfers this summer unless they sell many players. Barca can sell Dembele, Coutinho, Griezmann and other players to get money for Erling Haaland. At the same time, Messi wants to sign Aguero and play with his childhood friend. So, the case for Laporta is very tough in this situation.
