Harry Maguire has played every minute of football in 71 consecutive Premier League matches for Man Utd, a club record.

Harry Maguire, played all 90 minutes

The Defender has been a constant defender of the Red Devils since joining Leicester in 2019. Maguire, 28, played the full 90 minutes as the Ole Gunnar side played a 0-0 draw with Leeds on Sunday, keeping their start move and ending every Premier League match for United. The only other outfield player to have completed so many Premier League matches in a row for United was Gary Pallister. The former England defender set a record between November 1993 and May 1995. During this time, the Old Trafford club won the Premier League title twice. Maguire was shown a yellow card in the second half of the clash against Leeds for a late challenge to Tyler Roberts. This is the 10th booking he received in the Premier League this season, making him only the third United player to have been booked so many times in one season. Only Luke Shaw and Steve Bruce had the most yellow cards in the campaign, both collecting 11.

Defender is pleased with performances

Despite being tied at Elland Road, Maguire was happy with how his side played on Sunday. He said it was crowded and they controlled the game without punishing them. they knew how they would play, their attacking players loved one against the other, but today that was not the case. They kept them to a minimum, they were hard. they just couldn’t find that rib. The intensity was there, both teams tried to play the right way. Bruno Fernandes had the best chance of playing and the other day he put him in the back of the net and they took points. and this is a big week for them.
