Xhaka received a red card during a game against Burnley in a non-playing situation. This is the second such case recently – Nicolas Pepe was fired from Leeds for a similar reason. According to Evra, this indicates a lack of playing discipline in the team. It was for this reason that Xhaka became the addressee of the Euro criticism.
