Golden Boot owner Ciro Immobile is going to extend his contract with Lazio until 2025. The 30-year-old forward spoke about his attitude towards the Roman club.

European top scorer Ciro Immobile says he is ready to defend the dignity of Rome’s Lazio until the end of his career.

Recall that the 30-year-old striker of the Roman club scored 36 goals in the 2019/20 season and left Bayern forward Robert Lewandowski (34) and Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo (31) behind in the fight for the “Golden Boot.”

“I am going to play in Lazio until the end of my career. I will extend my contract with the club for three years. So, it will expire in 2025 when I will be 35 years old.

I often talked to Napoli before moving to Lazio. But for some reasons, we could never reach an agreement. “I was born in this city, and I will always love it. But it is invaluable what Lazio has given me and is giving me so far,” said the Italian striker.

Ciro Immobile has been with Lazio since 2016, having previously played for various Italian clubs, including Turin’s Juventus, Genoa, and Torino. Outside the country, he played for Borussia Dortmund and Seville.
