Inter are going to start negotiations with Lautaro Martinez. “Nerazzurri” want to make changes in the new contact.

Inter Milan are hoping that the team’s striker, Lautaro Martinez, will extend his contract with the club in the near future.

According to media reports, the Argentine forward’s agents will meet with the leaders of “Nerazzurri” and start negotiations on a new contract.

It is expected that under the new contract, Lautaro’s salary will increase. Also, Inter want to remove from the contract a clause related to the player’s ransom amount, which is 111 million euros.

If the Milan club achieves the desired result and the ransom amount is no longer specified in the contract. Then the Italians will be able to sell the player in exchange for the desired amount.

Recall that during the summer transfer window, Barcelona of Catalonia was interested in buying the 23-year-old striker. But the Spaniards could not agree on a price. They could not pay the ransom due to the financial crisis created by the coronavirus pandemic.

Lautaro Martinez has already started his third season with Inter. He has managed to score three goals in the current tournament. While last season he showed himself with 21 goals scored in all rounds.
