Negotiations came to a standstill. Barcelona wants to make money. But Inter desires to hire Vidal as a free agent.

Spanish Sport writes based on Italian media that the negotiations between Arturo Vidal, Barcelona and Inter Milan have reached a deadlock. The Catalan club is asking for some money from the Italians. But the “Nerazzurri” is in a tough refusal and only wants to add the Chilean midfielder as a free agent.

Like the transfer of Ivan Rakitic to Seville, Barcelona are only asking for a minimal amount of money and bonuses from Inter. Still, the Milanese response was so harsh that the Catalans were told not to pay a single euro in exchange for Vidal. It all happened as if an agreement had already been reached between the clubs.

Recall that the Croatian midfielder transferred to the Andalusian club in exchange for 1.3 million euros. In the case of the player’s successful performance and the club, Barcelona will receive an additional 9 million euros.

In recent days, it has been actively written that “Nerazzurri” has agreed on the details of Arturo Vidal’s personal contract. The Chilean would sign a two-year contract with the Italian club and receive an annual salary of 6 million euros. In addition, if the parties wish, the contract could be extended for another year. It must also be said that neither Barcelona was against terminating the contract with Vidal and let him go for free.

The 33-year-old has a contract with the Blues until June 2021. So, he is expected to leave the club at least during the current transfer window. That’s because the Chilean is not in Ronald Koeman’s future plans. So, Arturo have been linked with a move to a new club. However, we will find out in what form Vidal will leave “Camp Nou” in the near future.
