What happened to Armenia, do they even know how to play in defense? Italy scored nine goals in 81 goals, and they have not yet attacked for the last ten minutes.
Pre-match preparations
Armenian players had a perfect tournament on Euro 2020 qualifications. Group was full of good teams, but Armenia could take 10 points in total. Even two rounds ago, Armenian players had a chance to qualify to Euro 2020 from second place of the group. Unfortunately to Armenian fans, their national team could not win rest games, and they even conceded nine goals in a single match from Italy.
1st half of the game
Roberto Mancini started the game with two wingers and one center forward. Immobile, Chiesa, and Zaniolo had a chance to score goals from the start. Fans were waiting for a tough match for Italy as it was hard to win the game in Armenia.
It was a surprise for fans to see that Italy played a dominant game from the start. Italian players have scored four goals in the first half. Immobile had a whole 45 minutes as he could score two goals and one assist to Zaniolo. Keep in mind that Immobile was the first player who scored in the match. Lazio’s center forward opened a score on the 8th minute. In just one minute, Immobile gave an assist to Zaniolo, and Italy increased lead to two goals.
On the 29th minute, Barella scored a goal, and we knew the actual winner of the match by that time. In four minutes, Immobile scored his second goal and increased the lead of the team. Italy scored four goals in the first half, and we were waiting for another brilliant performance in second.
2nd half of the match
In seven minutes period, Italian players could score five goals and increase the lead to nine goals. Zaniolo also scored his second goal, and with Immobile, they had a perfect performance.
Armenia could score only one goal at 79th minute, and overall, we saw ten goal thriller. AS of now, Italy has a spot in Euro 2020, and Armenia will try to take their chance in the next Euro.
