Former Liverpool defender John Flanagan has praised one of the team’s leaders this season, Trent Alexander-Arnold. Flanagan thinks that Alexander-Arnold will change his playing position and play in midfield.

“I really like watching Trent play – now he is the best right-back in the world. Trent is not only a great player but also a cool guy. I think Alexander-Arnold will be an important figure in Liverpool for many years to come.”

“Nevertheless, I think overall, Trent will play in midfield. He’s a really great right-back. But with a midfield game, his influence will increase. He has absolutely everything to play in the center of the pitch,” The Athletic quoted Flanagan as saying.

This season, 21-year-old Arnold has made 29 appearances in the Premier League, scoring two goals and making 12 assists.

Jurgen Klopp: “Alexander-Arnold had only one drawback.”

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has spoken about his player, Trent Alexander-Arnold. “We paid attention to Alexander Arnold years ago, when he was rolling a ball at the Liverpool Academy with other teenagers.

We were fascinated by the fact that a fast and talented teenager could play both in defense and attack, both left and right.

The Englishman had only one drawback – physical weakness. This problem has been solved over time. ”
