Journalist Philippe Sanfourche has stated that Moise Kean plays like the former Paris Saint Germain forward Edinson Cavani.
Kean has found his feet back and become one of the key members of the Mauricio Pochettino squad. The teenager hit the ground running at Juventus before shifting his performance to Everton, England.
Although the Italian forward struggled at Everton, his PSG loan has paid off and Philippe has likened him to Cavani.
“The performances of Moise Kean, in the Champions League, he brings back a victory from Turkey after an abysmal start from PSG. It wasn’t anything. I’m not even talking about his performances in Barcelona or Lyon last Sunday,” Sanfourche said.
“Everyone has seen it, if Di Maria, if Mbappé is so good, create so many situations, have so many spaces, it is because it was initiated, generated by the work of Moise Kean. There is a bit of Cavani in what Moise Kean does. He has an abnegation in the replacement, an ability to start again immediately, with a physical density. It brings a lot of things.”
Reports claim that Les Parisiens will do everything in its power to keep Kean and are open to selling Mauro Icardi to help fund his transfer. However, PSG will certainly face competition from other clubs such as Juventus who are showing interest in the young striker. Kean has arguably turned to become one of the best strikes in Ligue 1.
Meanwhile, Italy has withdraw Moise Kean from the upcoming World Cup qualifiers because of “fatigue”. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) announced on Wednesday that the 21-year-old Kean has returned to the French club.
“Kean has suffered from a state of fatigue that makes him unavailable for the next matches of the national team against Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, and Lithuania,” the FICG said in a statement.
