Cristiano Ronaldo may extend his contract with Juventus. According to Sportitalia journalist Paolo Bargija, the management of the Italian club is working on renewing the contract with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes.
It is expected that Ronaldo will extend his contract with Juve for 1 year, until the summer of 2023. He also agrees to a salary reduction. The Portuguese is currently earning 31 million euros a season in the Turin Grand. That is a huge burden for the Italian Grand during the economic crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Cristiano wants to play at a high level for 40 years, and for that, he definitely needs to stay in Europe. His ability to pay his high salary (depending on his age) on the old continent is probably only available to Paris Saint-Germain.
