On Wednesday, Cristiano Ronaldo was hit by Sinusitis, and he had to miss Juve’s last-16 clash with Udinese in the Coppa Italia.

Juventus love tearing up Udinese

Despite that, the black-and-whites played a perfect game without their top scorer that night. Still, Juve scored four goals past Udinese without Ronaldo’s help and cruised into the last-eight.

The Bianconeri broke the deadlock in the sixteenth minute while Gonzalo Higuain scored the first goal on the assist of Paulo Dybala.

Ten minutes later, Udinese goalkeeper tripped Federico Bernardesch, and Dybala doubled the score with a delightful clipped shot from the spot.

So the first half ended with Juve’s victory 2:00, but the second half turned out to be even more thrilling for Juve’s fans.

Dybala scored again in the 58th minute and made it 3-0 in favor of Juventus.

Two Minutes later, a Brazilian winger Douglas Costa converted Juve’s second penalty kick after Bram Nuytinck handled.

The Old Lady has won 29 direct matches against Udinese so far, five games ended in a draw, and the Girlfriend of Italy has lost only six matches.

Intense match between Roma and Parma

In the last eight, the Bianconeri will play against Roma, who beat Parma 2:0 and got the bounce back last night. Roma was in desperate need of a victory after failing against Torino and Juventus recently.

The first half finished without any goals, but on the 50th minute, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Kalinic played a beautiful give and went in the area to break open in the match. Pellegrini played the initial pass to Kalinic, and the Croatian quickly gave it back to Pellegrini, who managed to beat the keeper at the far post.

Following a handball from Antonio Barilla, Pellegrini converted the penalty with Perotti-like precision and got a ticket to the quarterfinals. There AS Roma will face Juventus.

The quarterfinals will not be any comfortable against Juventus. Roma plays good football. This season, there’s plenty of optimism about where the team is going. But The Old Lady seems to be a prominent leader of the season in Serie A.

AS Roma has played 32 Games against Juventus up to today. In these common Games, the Teams scored an average of 2.7 Goals per Match. Juve has 18 winnings. Roma won 8 games. And the remaining six games finished with a draw.

Now, Juventus’s main goal is kinda obvious: they should get three points and the first place in Serie A.
